Ronald Lee Martin, 73, of Franklin, Ill., passed away peacefully in his home September 11, 2022. He was born in Effingham, February 24, 1949, to Charles Austin Martin and Edith Lorraine (Evans) Martin. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Bergren) Martin, his son Martin J. Martin (Bridget), and grandchildren, Carson (8), Kinley (6), and Kerrigan (3) of Petersburg, Ill.; older siblings, William Martin (Katheryn) of Sullivan, Alice Gray (Richard) of Heyworth, and Fred Martin (Glenda) of Charleston. He was preceded in death by his parents. Nancy Gill, 85, of Sullivan, passed away 2:37 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022, in her home with her family around her.
