Christmas Jingle Time Trial at Civic Center

On Saturday December 10th the Blue Dolphins held a Christmas Jingle Time Trial at the Civic Center. High Point Winners for the day:

Lady Redskins Fall to Central A&M

Sullivan fell behind 7-17 after the first quarter and even a strong scoring output in the fourth could not bring them back as they fell 53-40 to Central A&M Monday night.
Izabelle Hay paced the Lady Redskins with 14 points, Alaina Moore was right behind with nine, Addison Minor added six and Shae Ellis rounded out the scoring with two. Isabelle Stone had six steals on the night and Minor added eight rebounds.
Sullivan takes on Okaw Valley Thursday night at home.
Lady Redskins Fall to Eagles

The Sullivan Lady Redskins just did not seem ready to play in their first home basketball game against Newton Monday night. The Eagles took a comfortable 24-12 first half lead and held on for the 36-25 victory.
Addison Minor led Sullivan with eight points, followed by Isabelle Hay with seven and Chloe Smith with four. Emily Miller and Shae Ellis each added three points, Ellis also led the team with ten rebounds.
Newton also took the JV game 23-21. The next game will be Thursday at Clinton.

Sullivan Blue Dolphins Break Waves and Records

Sullivan Blue Dolphins represented in the Lockport, IL meet on weekend of October 20. The high point winners: Open girls 1st place Madalyn Booker, 2nd place Emily Crosier; Open Boys 1st place Ethan Schmohe, 2nd place Liam Donovan; 8 & under boys 1st place Bryce Badman. Bryce Badman broke the 8 and Under Dolphin 500 freestyle record for 8 & under boys with a new time of 7:36.47. Madalyn Booker broke the Girls Open Dolphin 200 breaststroke record with a new time 2:27.94 as well as the record for the 200 IM with a new time of 2:12.33. Emily Crosier broke the 13-14 Girls 200 freestyle with a new time of 1:59.21, the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:21.40, the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.11, and the 200 IM with a new time of 2:16.52.
SHS Swimming Co-Op Competes in Lockport

Sullivan Swimming Co-op competed at the Oktoberfest swim meet in Lockport the weekend of October 20. The girls had an exceptional weekend. Senior Madalyn Booker brought home the 1st place high point trophy while Freshman, Emily Crosier brought home the 2nd place high point trophy. Individual results: Booker: 1st in the 50 free, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 200 backstroke, 2nd in the 200 free. Crosier: 1st in 200 free, 100 free and 500 free, 2nd in 50 free, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 IM, 100 butterfly. Freshman Alivia Tippit, had a great weekend, swam eight events and dropped time in seven of the eight. For the sport of swimming that is a hard thing to do. Senior Audrey Summers represented well in four events to have an overall time drop of 14.00 in the 100 breaststroke.
