The Sullivan volleyball team dropped two matches this past week, losing to Teutopolis and Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond.
At Teutopolis, Sullivan lost in two sets, 25-12 and 25-17.
Alaya Bolin tallied four kills.

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond picked up two wins this past week to stay undefeated at 7-0.
ALAH defeated Sullivan Monday and Monticello Thursday.
Monday ALAH knocked off Sullivan in straight sets, 25-11 and 25-9.

The Sullivan cross country teams competed in two meets this past week.
The boys placed sixth in the Shelbyville Trail Invitational and second in a Tuscola meet.
At Shelbyville, Logan Pedigo placed 10th with a time of 17:30.37, and Parker Perrine placed 20th at 18:02.72.
Isaiah Plank placed 32nd with a personal record time of 18:55.92, and Canaan Christensen’s personal best time of 19:03.43 was good enough for 33rd. Read More

NFL Player at OVHS
Steve Grant, former NFL linebacker, speaking to Okaw Valley students Monday morning about setting goals and making positive choices. He spoke to Sullivan High School and Middle School students on Sept 13. Grant was a linebacker with the Indianpolis Colts and a graduate of West Virginia University.

The Sullivan boys’ golf team stayed undefeated (11-0) by defeating Okaw Valley, Shelbyville and Meridian on Senior Night Thursday.
The Redskins scored the low of 169, one stroke better than OV’s 170.
Okaw Valley tallied a 170 for second place, and Shelbyville had 201.
Meridian finished with 206.

Shelbyville Downs SOV Football
The Sullivan-Okaw Valley football team suffered its third loss Friday.
Shelbyville spoiled Okaw Valley’s homecoming game by defeating SOV 58-7.
Shelbyville took a 34-0 lead in the first quarter and a 58-0 lead into the half.
Sullivan is scheduled to travel to Warrensburg-Latham for a 7 p.m. start Friday. The team now stands at 0-3 on the season and 0-1 in conference play. They will resume action this Friday at Warrensburg-Latham.
