Illinois Basketball Coaches Association announced its District Coaches of the Year last week.
Sullivan’s head girls’ basketball coach Sheri McCain was the Class 2A District 14 Coach of the Year.
Under McCain, Sullivan earned its second straight trip to Class 2A Sweet 16 and finished with a 26-4 record.
That will not be the only honor McCain will receive while at the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame Banquet Saturday at Illinois State University.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
