Defense Drives Redskins Past Shelbyville

The Redskins baseball team beat the Shelbyville Rams 5-1, improving Sullivan’s record to 9-3 and 3-1 in the conference.
Pitcher Zach Hrvol went the distance striking out 12. He threw 64 strikes in 91 pitches, allowing one run on six hits and one base on balls.
Coach Troy Rogers pointed out several great plays on defense made the win possible. That included Alec Ballinger throwing one out at the plate and making a game saving catch.
Tom Schibur made a throw to cut a runner down at home and followed it up with a diving stop to save a run for a great all around team effort and win.
