Hard Fought But Not Enough for Sullivan Girls
•January 20, 2016•
Sometimes missing a player affects the whole team, which may have been part of the reason for Sullivan girls to lose 52-34 at St. Teresa January 14.
Coach Sheri McCain said sophomore guard Lizzie Green was out due to illness. “I thought Brooke Tuttle stepped up in her absence and handled the ball well.”
Tuttle provided the team with three assists.
“Chloe Riley played well offensively in both the JV and varsity games,” McCain said. Junior varsity Redskins beat St Teresa 36-26.
In the varsity game Riley had three steals, four field goals and two free shots for 10 points. Alyssa Marshall provided three three point goals for nine points; Tatum Ellis had three field goals and one free shot for seven points.
