Harvest Picnic Celebrates 121 Years in Windsor

Three days filled with fun food and entertainment marks the 121st Windsor’s Harvest Picnic with “Harvesting the past, planting the future chosen as this year’s theme.
The picnic kicks off Thursday, August 17 with pork chop dinners and ends the night with country tunes of Battle Creek who have been playing classic country in central Illinois since 1985.
At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Whisperin’ Bill Anderson takes center stage. This Country Music Hall of Fame star’s soft approach to country has entertained fans for more than 50 years.
Harvesting the past, planting the future is the theme highlighted in the Saturday, August 19 parade.
