The Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond football team dropped a Little Okaw Valley (Northwest) Conference game against Argenta-Oreana 53-13 in Arthur Friday.

“I was pleased with our effort and compete level which was not evident the week before versus LSA,” said ALAH coach Dale Schuring.

A-O jumped out to a 16-0 first quarter lead and put the game away in the third quarter, outscoring the Knights 28-6.

“I thought Marcus Vanausdoll was outstanding on defense,” said Schuring. “He was playing a new position and made plays all over the field.”     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
