Lady Redskins Defeat Cumberland 6-2 to Bag First Win of Season
Then fall in close contest on Saturday to LeRoy

Heidi Clements pitched seven innings without allowing an earned run while striking out four to lead the Lady Redskins to victory over the Cumberland Pirates Friday.
Last year’s contest versus Cumberland slipped away from the Redskins in extra innings, and Sullivan was determined to prevail this time around. Jordan Basset had quite a day going two for three with a double, which drove in two runs, and Elissa Stewart was three of four with an RBI and stolen base providing the catalyst at the top of the order.
Head coach Ben Richter was pleased with how his team bounced back after a tough loss in the season opener.
