The Lady Redskins basketball team played Mt. Zion and Robinson last week, followed by a contest against St. Teresa this past Monday. Last year, the ladies lost to Mt. Zion and St. Teresa (they didn’t play Robinson). This year the story had a different ending.
The Mt. Zion game was close. But Devon Richardson made sure Sullivan stayed on top. She had a team high 13 points, including three baskets from behind the three point line. Helping her out down low was Addison Minor who collected 12 rebounds while putting up 10 points herself for a double-double. Emily Miller and Aeralyn Thrasher each had eight points in the contest. Miller also led the team in steals and assists. The final in Mt. Zion was 46-43.
