On Friday, October 24th, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., the Lovington Park Board will be hosting a “Trunk or Treat” event at the Thomas Conn Community Park, 355 Maple Street in Lovington. Food truck service and concessions will be available for purchase from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A costume contest will be held at 6:00 p.m., with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for ‘best costume’ in the following age groups: 0 to 3 years, Pre-K, 1st through 2nd grade, 3rd through 4th grade, and 5th through 6th grade. There will also be prizes for the best decorated trunk.
