The Bethany Ministerial Society has launched a new community food pantry. The group of ministers, seeing a need for food security in their community, wasted no time in setting things into motion.

The new food pantry is located in the First Christian Church at the S. St. John St. entrance.  It is open 5-8 p.m. the last Tuesday of each month

Each family that comes will receive breakfast items, macaroni and cheese, beans, fruits, vegetables, a starch, a packaged meal, toiletries, and miscellaneous items.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
