Summer vacations were once an annual tradition for millions of families across the globe. Warm weather getaways to idyllic beaches and welcoming resorts have long helped families make lasting memories, and revisiting that trend can be good for everyone.
Family vacation plans were put on the back burner during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to a survey from IPX 1031®, 40 percent of respondents canceled vacation plans during the pandemic, while an additional 29 percent didn’t plan a vacation at all. For example, data from the U.S. Travel Association indicates that American workers failed to use 768 million vacation days in 2018. Read More

Fun Ways to Keep Kids Occupied over Summer Break
•June 1, 2022•
Kids look forward to summer vacation every year. The last day of school gives way to less structured days when kids can spend more time outdoors and less time cracking the books.
Summer vacation can be a dilemma for parents, especially in households where both parents work full-time. A pandemic-related increase in remote working has made that problem somewhat more manageable, but even parents working from home must find fun way for kids to stay occupied until the new school year begins. No two kids are the same, so parents may need to try various activities on for size until they find something their children enjoy doing during the lazy days of summer. Read More
Outdoor Movie Night Essentials
•June 1, 2022•
Outdoor movie nights can be a great way to spend warm evenings with friends and loved ones. The guest list is only limited by the seating you have, and even then, movie watchers easily can sit on picnic blankets, making it simple to host a crowd.
Movie nights outdoors may be different than those in a theater or living room, but certain must-have items are no less important. No movie night under the stars is complete without these essentials.
Projector and screen

My friend Peter Page builds high-rises. He knows that if he were to put a beam in the wrong place, the whole thing could come down.
In a much less dramatic, costly and dangerous way, a misplaced word in a sentence can make the whole thing collapse.

Yes, I’ve discussed both before, but given the number of examples I see, some of us still aren’t getting it.

D&D Liquidation, a new business in Sullivan, scheduled a grand opening. Dave Eckel was owner of the store. The store sold products that were overstocked or discontinued by companies and retailers. They also bought products from bankrupt companies at a reduced price. The store dealt in everything from electronics to office supplies to residential furniture to Beanie Babies.
