Country Breakfast and Bazaar Sat.

The Allenville Christian Church ·will hold their annual country breakfast & bazaar 7-11 a.m. Saturday, November 15.

The menu will consist of biscuits, gravy, sausage, ham, egg casserole, hashbrown patties, waffles, fruit, juice, milk & coffee. There will be homemade cakes, pies, rolls, candy and misc. craft items. A suggested donation for both adults and children under 12 will be collected with proceeds used to help pay for extra parking area. Read More

Historical Society’s Annual Dinner Nov. 20

The Moultrie County Historical and Genealogical Society will hold their year end annual dinner, Thursday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Sullivan.

Tickets for the dinner may be purchased at the Heritage Center until 4 p.m. Nov. 17.

The speaker for the evening will be John Biedler who will be portraying Commodore Stephen Decatur. Biedler portrays the Commodore in full uniform and regales his audiences with stories of the life and military service of Stephen Decatur. Read More

Bethlehem Walk Sunday

The Windsor United Methodist Church is inviting the public to the Bethlehem Walk on Sunday, November 16 from 5:30 to 7 pm.

America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders is now launching in 40 states, with more than $500,000 worth of scholarships available. Sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, the program provides $1,500 college scholarships to students pursuing a degree related to agriculture.
