Viola McCain 

Viola R. McCain, 94, of Decatur, formerly of Bethany, passed away at 10:10 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 13 in McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Bethany. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Bethany. Viola was born December 6, 1923 in Sullivan, a daughter of Odem A. and Nora Miller Stone. She married Robert Q. McCain March 17, 1945 in Sullivan, and he preceded her in death March 18, 2014. She was a member of First Christian Church in Bethany.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Gregory L. Totel.

Viola is survived by her sons Joseph (Marlene) McCain of Cabot, Ark. and Daniel (Nancy) McCain of Decatur; grandsons Lance McCain and Ted McCain and five great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son John, two brothers and four sisters.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Bethany.
