Faye Skaggs

Faye Miller Skaggs, 95, of Pawnee, Illinois, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at Concordia Village in Springfield.
Faye was born Aug. 7, 1927, in Taylorville, a daughter of Joseph Reuben and Rey Ethel Younker Miller. Faye met Eugene Edward Skaggs at a roller rink, and they were married Feb. 20, 1949, at First United Methodist Church in Springfield. They celebrated 63 wonderful years of marriage until Gene’s death in 2012. Faye also was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Joan Edwards and a brother, Dean Miller.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
