Clyde E. “Gene” Newberry, 84, of Lovington passed away at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Lovington. Burial with military rites by Lovington American Legion Post # 429 was in Keller Cemetery in Lovington.
