William Lawrence “Bill” Smith, 84, of Dalton City died at 3:09 p.m. Friday March 25, 2016 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church in Decatur. Burial with military rites by the Macon County Honor Guard were at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Mt. Zion Township Cemetery.
