Ivan Horsman

Our Dad was a farmer. He was born to Vaughn and Mattie Horsman on a small farm near Herrick, Illinois September 7, 1921. He grew up on the farm until he left to try his hand at the Ford Motor Plant in Chicago and later in the U. S. Navy. He was aboard a ship headed to the Pacific when W.W. II ended.

After the Navy, he settled on a grain and dairy farm north of Sullivan working with brothers Earl and Chuck. His partnership with Earl continued until Earl’s retirement.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
