Byron M. “Bud” Grant, 79, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Sullivan and Lovington, passed away July 18 at the Lamplight care facility in Ft. Myers.
He was born Nov. 24, 1935, to John and Edith Grant of Chesterville and graduated from Lovington High School in 1953. Cherishing memories of their nearly 62 years of marriage is his wife and high school sweetheart Betty Grant (nee Bailey). They were married Aug. 28, 1953, in Champaign.
