Larry Joe Barker 77 of Bethany, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 , at Sullivan Healthcare, in Sullivan, surrounded by family. Larry was born November 14, 1945 in Strasburg to Burl Curtis Barker and Margaret Elizabeth (Volkman) Barker. Larry married his former wife, Wanda Sue Webb, June 14, 1968 in Sullivan. Ruth Helen Kohlhauff was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 2, 1923. Her father, William Kohlhauff was employed at the Brown Shoe Company. Her mother, Rose Graff Kohlhauff was a homemaker. She lived with her parents on Minnesota Avenue in Dutchtown, a German-American community in south St. Louis. She spent many happy hours, days and weeks and summers with her grandparents and cousins at the local pool at Marquette Park. Read More
