Moultrie County Clerk Georgia England has announced that Okaw Valley CUSD #302 Board candidate packets for the April 4, 2017 Consolidated Election will be available for pickup September 19 in the Moultrie County Clerk’s office located in the Courthouse, 10 S. Main, Ste. 6 in Sullivan.

Candidate petitions for Okaw Valley School Board cannot be circulated for signatures until Tuesday September 20, 2016. Filing of petitions will be in the county clerk’s office beginning Monday December 12, 2016 to Monday December 19. Hours of filing are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except on the last day of filing when the office will remain open until 5 p.m. If two or more candidates file their petitions simultaneously as of the opening hour of the filing period (December 12) or within the last hour of the filing period (December 19), a lottery will be held December 21 at 9 a.m. in the county clerk’s office to determine candidate placement on the April 4, 2017 Consolidated ballot.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
