Overtime Win for Lady Knights Over Chrisman

Megan Fifer’s 26 points were among her best scoring nights and helped boost the Lady Knights to a 62-54 win over Chrisman’s Cardinals Dec. 22.
The Lady Cardinals led 13-8 at the end of the first quarter. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond came back with a 19 point second quarter over Chrisman’s 12, to go into the half ahead 27-25.
One point separated third quarter scores with Chrisman edging ALAH 14-13. The Lady Knight one point edge disappeared as the two were tied at the end of regular play at 48.
Overtime was dominated by ALAH with Janette Comstock, Hannah Wallen and Fifer scoring 12 to the Chrisman team’s six points.
Fifer’s scoring lead for the Lady Knights included eight field goals, one three pointer and seven free shots for 26; Hannah Wallen had six field goals, one three pointer and three free throws for 18 points; Liz Shipman hit two from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line for eight points; Logan Kauffman hit one three point shot; Janette Comstock made a field goal and a free throw for three points; Payton Wellbaum hit a field goal for two points; Marissa Herschberger scored a field goal.
Chrisman was led by A. Bush with 26 points; Eddy scored nine points; K. Bush seven points; Switzer scored six points ; Ingram had four points and Watters added two to complete Cardinal scoring.
