Sullivan takes third in triangular

Improving to 13-3 on the season, the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond/Arcola golf team shot a combined 167 at home Monday evening, easily ousting second place Altamont, who shot a 201, and third place Sullivan, who shot six strokes back at 207.

The Purple Rider Knights’ Chris Davis was the triangular’s medalist with a 39 after nine holes. Teammate Noah Yantis was just two strokes back with a 41, followed by Clayton Miller’s 42, Cole Drake’s 45, and Robert Hill and Shandon Herschberger’s 48s.
