Barbara Ann Neuhauser, 56, of Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Sullivan, passed away at 2:36 a.m. Wednesday December 13, 2023 in her residence.
Rite of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday December 18, 2023 in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation will be 4 - 6 p.m. Sunday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan. Rite of Committal and Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials are suggested to the Sullivan High School Girls Basketball or the donor’s choice. Barb was born December 2, 1967 in Decatur, the daughter of Carl G. and Dorothy Dean Kutz.
Barb enjoyed going to all her girls sports events and supporting their dreams, going to coffee outings and thrifting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She married John C. Neuhauser on October 20, 1990 in Sullivan.
Surviving are her husband John of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughters Paige Leigh Neuhauser of Knoxville, Tennessee and Emily Ann Neuhauser of Augusta, Georgia; sisters Jennie (Gary) Houk of North Ft. Myers, Florida, Lori (Marty) Harbaugh of Sullivan and Sue (Will) Frick of Panama City, Florida; mother-in-law Patricia Neuhauser of Sullivan; sister-in-law Chris (Steve) Davidson of Aurora and brother-in-law Dan (Michelle) Neuhauser of Tolono.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in- law J. Calvin Neuhauser, III and her fur baby Milo.
Barb dedicated her life to her two girls and supporting her husband. She was a loving, selfless, caring, beautiful soul. She had a strong faith and the most positive outlook on life that inspired others.
