The Redskins lost to Warrensburg-Latham Friday but defeated Cerro-Gordo-Bement last Tuesday. Against the Cardinals Friday, the game was tied after the first quarter, but W-L took a 26-22 lead into halftime. Okaw Valley Schools Facility Revitalization Advances
•January 16, 2019• The Okaw Valley CUSD #302 Board of Education approved a resolution to put the question to voters on the April 2 ballot to issue $6.5 million in school building bonds. If approved by voters on April 2, the bonds will fund the construction of a new gymnasium to attach to the current gym at the high school, a new entryway into the front of the middle school and new playground equipment at the elementary school. Against the Titans Friday, ALAH fell behind 17-15 after the first quarter, but a big second quarter put the Knights ahead 32-15 at halftime. Tri-County battled back with a 19-5 third-quarter run to take the lead 44-37. The Titans held on in the fourth for the final 66-58 win. Austin Romine scored a game-high 21 points. Sullivan Girls Ranked Fifth Among State Class 2A Teams

But Sullivan coach Sheri McCain does not want her players to become complacent. Thursday, Jan. 10, the Redskins stayed undefeated in the CIC after knocking off Clinton. The $1,200 donation consisted of employee contributions that were matched individually by Shawnee’s four shareholders, as well as the company.
