•November 21, 2018• Sullivan Schools observed Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 12 with the high school program organized by Rebecca Lawson’s Career English class seniors. •November 21, 2018• Jim Dycus is in the fight of his life and a benefit will be held Saturday, November 24 at the Sullivan VFW. Dycus has stage IV stomach cancer and will have to take chemotherapy the rest of his life. He is unable to work and medical as well as daily/monthly bills are piling up. A group of close friends from Sullivan and Arthur have put together a benefit to help him with his financial needs. Brad McGill takes over a team that finished last year 17-11 overall and 5-1 in the Little Okaw Valley Northwest Division. Thompson Appoints Standerfer To Assistant Position

•November 21, 2018• Coming off a decisive primary election victory and an unopposed general election, Regional Superintendent-Elect Dr. Kyle Thompson has appointed Dr. Zakry Standerfer to work alongside him at the Regional Office of Education #11 beginning July 1, 2019. Standerfer is a three-time Eastern Illinois University graduate who also completed his Ph.D. at Indiana State University in 2016.
