•October 3, 2018• Eastview Terrace has announced that Administrator Lacy Mossman has become a Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Mossman is a lifelong resident of Sullivan where she resides with her husband Matthew and their sons Kellan, 5, and Eli, 2. She attended Millikin University where she majored in elementary education and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. •October 3, 2018• C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation recently showcased their 53rd year of accomplishments that demonstrated that community action helps people and changes lives. During the 2018 annual meeting some very special people and organizations were recognized as valuable community partners who enhanced the level of service to those in need. According to C.E.F.S. •October 3, 2018• Moultrie County Clerk Georgia England stated that it has been brought to her attention that in a couple of neighboring counties individuals have recently received phone calls from persons impersonating an organization that provides voter registration assistance mentioning the Clerk’s office and the Clerk’s name. The callers asked the recipients if they wanted to register to vote or request an absentee ballot over the phone. The Moultrie County Clerk’s office does not generate these phone calls nor will the office ever call asking people to register to vote over the phone. … Read More
