Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond schools observe baccalaureate service  at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 20 with 63 high school seniors scheduled to graduate outdoors at 7 p.m. Friday, May 25. Okaw Valley High School has 47 senior candidates for graduation. The commencement ceremony is 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27 in the OVHS gymnasium. Quinn Michael Brooks is valedictorian. Big Bats Come Out Against Central A&M for Sullivan Win

•May 9, 2018• By Jason Brown NP Sports The Sullivan baseball team split four games this week. The Redskins defeated Cumberland and Central A&M but lost to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and Clinton. Last Tuesday, Sullivan defeated Central A&M 12-1 in five innings. The Redskins scored three runs in the second inning and five in the third inning for an 8-1 lead. Fishing tournament weigh in begins at 2:30 p.m. outside Sullivan V.F.W. Big Spike Hammer plays music outdoors during the weigh in from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. From noon through 5 p.m. the expo at the V.F.W. offers outdoor items, crafts, a wine tasting and more. ALAH Changes to PE Uniforms, Starts Dance Club Next Year

It will be required that students wear uniforms in class. “It will make the program more inclusive, and everyone will look the same. We won’t have to worry about students wearing shorts that are too short or other clothing malfunctions,” stated high school principal Steffanie Seegmiller.
