Phil Armstrong, 74, of Sullivan, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2025 in his residence. In accordance with Phil’s wishes there will be no visitation. 2015 Saturday night had Sullivan Police investigating a few incidents- a hold-up, a vehicle entry, and one home burglary. Sangamon Valley got on the board first with a 59-yard touchdown pass, but Logan Fleener returned the ensuing kickoff 74 yards for the Redskin score.
