25 Years Ago This Week Democrat Glenn Poshard of Carterville who is running for Congress in the 19th Congressional District visited civics and history students of Jud Cameron and Matt Kracht at Sullivan High School. Poshard, an incumbent whose district was restructured to include central Illinois, spoke about a typical day in Congress and fielded questions from students about health care, the deficit, the recession, the rising cost of college education and term limits. The glory days of movies in Sullivan will soon return only bigger and better. “I’m so proud of the community effort that allows us to now use the space for movies during the winter months,” Executive Director John Stephens said of the Little Theatre expansion.
