•August 30, 2017• Over the past 47 years, if you, your child, or your grandchild took a school class field trip to Millikin University’s Kirkland Fine Arts Center to see a show, that was likely a PASS performance. Designed to open doors to learning through the performing arts, approximately 8,000 area children attend these shows each year. 25 Years Ago This Week President of the Illinois Education Association Lee Betterman visited teachers in Bethany during their seventh strike day. A group of 30 school parents marched from downtown Bethany to the school superintendent’s office to request negotiations with striking teachers resume immediately.
