•August 23, 2017• Local author E.M. Burtcheard will hold a book signing at the Windsor Library 10:30 a.m. until noon Saturday, August 26. The Long Ride is Burtcheard’s third book and is a about two girls escaping the orphan train during the wild west in an effort to find a better life. Faces West and Growing Up on Christian 40 are previous works still on the shelf. Burtcheard lives in Sullivan and is working on Broken Anchor Heritage. Monastery Museum Is Available for Visitors

•August 23, 2017• Visitors can view more than 30 rooms of the Teutopolis Monastery Museum on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. The Museum is located on the second floor in the former Franciscan Novitiate building which is located behind St. Francis Church in Teutopolis. A chair lift is available for visitors who have difficulty with stairs.
