Sullivan Teachers and School Board Approve Contract

•July 26, 2017• The Sullivan Education Association (SEA) and the Sullivan Board of Education came to a tentative contract agreement Tuesday, July 11. The contract was ratified by the SEA on Wednesday, August 2 and approved by the Board of Education in a special meeting held July 20. The contract is a three-year agreement on language, which highlights an addition in contract language for those Sullivan teachers who live out of district, a waiver for their children to attend Sullivan. •July 26, 2017• The Moultrie County Farm Bureau hosted their “Adopted” legislator Napoleon Harris III on Friday, July 21. Adopt a Legislator is a program through the Illinois Farm Bureau where County Farm Bureaus are able to “adopt” urban legislators to be able to teach and inform them on agriculture. The MCFB has recently adopted Senator Harris and was able to visit his district in March of this year. Registration Begins Thurs for Sullivan Schools

•July 26, 2017• Registration for Sullivan School District will be noon-7 p.m. July 27 in the Sullivan High School Media Center. Registration will once again be online, and the computer lab will be available for anyone who needs access. School supply lists, physical forms and free/reduced lunch applications will also be available online. Letters regarding registration were mailed in late July.
