•August 6, 2025• Moultrie County Monthly Quarter Madness will hold its August Quarter Auction on Wednesday, August 13th. The event will be held at the Sullivan American Legion Post #68.  The organization of the month is the Eastview Terrace Activity Department. Eastview Healthcare & Senior Living is a long-term care facility as well as a rehabilitation-to-home facility. Gays to host ‘Outhouse Festival’ this Saturday

•August 6, 2025• Gamble’s General Store, built in 1872, was attached to a general store downstairs, and upstairs were apartments. The design was so each floor had its own ‘facilities’. Gamble’s General Store was torn down in 1984, when the Village acquired it, and the two-story outhouse has been a tourist attraction since the 1960s. This is the biggest festival yet. •August 6, 2025• On September 6th at the Sullivan VFW, the “Warrior Wheels” fundraiser for the Warrior Fund will hold their ‘Warrior Wheels’ Jeep run.  Sign-up begins at 10:015 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The registration fee is $10.00 per person. Departure will be at noon from the Sullivan VFW.
