Monthly Quarter Madness

•August 6, 2025• Moultrie County Monthly Quarter Madness will hold its August Quarter Auction on Wednesday, August 13th. The event will be held at the Sullivan American Legion Post #68.  The organization of the month is the Eastview Terrace Activity Department. Eastview Healthcare & Senior Living is a long-term care facility as well as a rehabilitation-to-home facility. Cadwell to host Blood Drive with ImpactLife

The blood drive will be from 3:15 to 6:45 pm on Tuesday, August 19th at 1533 CR 1900N, inside the Donor Bus @ M&E Wood Crafts. Gays to host ‘Outhouse Festival’ this Saturday

•August 6, 2025• Gamble’s General Store, built in 1872, was attached to a general store downstairs, and upstairs were apartments. The design was so each floor had its own ‘facilities’. Sullivan Senior Expo to be held in September

‘Warrior Wheels’ Jeep run

•August 6, 2025• On September 6th at the Sullivan VFW, the “Warrior Wheels” fundraiser for the Warrior Fund will hold their ‘Warrior Wheels’ Jeep run.  Sign-up begins at 10:015 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The registration fee is $10.00 per person. Departure will be at noon from the Sullivan VFW. Landmark torn down



News Progress


The home at the intersection of Route 133 and Route 32 in Lovington was torn down last week. The house had become a major hazard after a box truck struck it, taking out a large portion of the north wall. The owners had the home demolished after it was deemed a public safety issue.
