Social Security Revises Medical Criteria for Evaluating Mental Disorders

•September 28, 2016• On Monday, the Social Security Administration will publish final rules, effective January 17, 2017, that revise medical criteria for evaluating mental disorders. This regulation is a comprehensive revision to the criteria for evaluating disability claims involving mental disorders. “Updating our medical criteria for the disability program is a challenging task that has been complicated by deep budgetary cuts in recent years,” said Carolyn W. At the Monday, September 26 city council meeting health and safety commissioner Bill Hagen commemorated Rankin in a letter he read into the record. “Last weekend Bill Rankin passed away. Historical Amish Homes Moved to New Location

On Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Arthur, two original Amish homes built in 1865-1866, were moved from storage to their new location. They represent the beginning of a new Heritage Center and Amish Museum located less than a mile west of Chesterville and three miles east of Arthur. •September 28, 2016• Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond volleyball turned some heads and got revenge Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Arcola volleyball invitational. Whether it was an 8 a.m. start or defeating arch-rival Tri-County, the day was something to behold. The Knights got the taste of loss from Sept. 22 against Argenta-Oreana out of their mouths and fast. Avenging their first loss of the season, they took down the Titans 14-25, 25-12, 15-11 in three sets. In her interview by Kyra Jackson McDowell explained she joined OVHS this year to teach physics, biology, anatomy and physiology. She is also science club sponsor and in charge of the Eco-team.
