Summer Homecoming for Lovington Alumni

Wilborn Creek Road Reopens
Project Makes Progress •June 8, 2016• County Highway engineer Jeff Birch reported Wilborn Creek road is reopened following culvert replacements as part of the overall $1.8 million improvement project. Birch told members of the Moultrie County Road and Bridge Committee last week that preparations to recycle should take up to four days in early July. Target date for project completion, which includes a new transition curve on the road south of CR1150N, is August 15. •June 1, 2016• Sullivan High School music teacher from 1991-96 William Cole retired from Cloverdale Ind. Middle School after 37 years of teaching. He spent his career teaching music, choir, and band in Indiana and Illinois. Cole arrived in Sullivan in 1991 from Richland High School in Olney. In 1996 Bill, his wife Janelle, son Alex and daughter Janessa moved to Cloverdale to be closer to family. He spent the past 20 years in Cloverdale schools and was named Educator of the Year in 2016.
