Krile, 69, of Strasburg, IL, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 23, 2025.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL, with Rev. Kene Whybrew officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Approximately 75 ham radio enthusiasts from all over Central Illinois gathered to sell, buy, or trade all manner of ham radio equipment, electronics, tools, and all related to ham radio. Recreation of a distracted/impaired driving accident at SHS •April 30, 2025• by Kenny Graven On Thursday, April 24th at 10:30 a.m. in the Sullivan High School parking lot, students witnessed a dramatic and emotional demonstration with the goal of highlighting the dangers and consequences of drinking and distracted driving. In a coordinated effort, the Sullivan Fire and Police Departments, the Moultrie County Sheriff’s Office, Moultrie County Coroner Lynn Reed, and McMullin-Young Funeral Home staged a realistic mock car accident. Brown, 87, of Lovington, passed away 7:10 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2025, in Keller Cemetery, Lovington. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. McMullin-Young Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements. Wayne was born October 23, 1937; the son of Homer and Tressie (Dunning) Brown. He served in the National Guard. Wayne married Rosemary Lee Rainey on April 8, 1971, in Lovington; she survives. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling and dancing all over the world with his wife. The Moultrie-Douglas County Fair Pageant will be held Monday, July 27th at 6:00 p.m. for Little Miss Fair Queen and 7:00 p.m. for Miss and Junior Miss Fair Queen located at the south track on the Mo-Do Fairgrounds. Vying for the title of Miss Moultrie Douglas Fair Queen are: Abigail Meyer of Tuscola, Addee Mulligan of Arcola, Sarah Rogers of Atwood, Ava Whitson of Tuscola, Addisyn Wilson of Villa Grove, Emma Spillman of Tuscola, Aymara Leal of Arcola and Katilyn Kirby of Sullivan.
