However, most people think more about keeping their bodies fit or their hearts healthy than working at maintaining a healthy brain. “Wits Fitness: Brain Exercise Classes” are held every fourth Monday of the month from 1-2:30 p.m. at Mid-Illinois Senior Services (Senior Center) in Sullivan. Eric Paulson Eric Paulson, 30, of Sullivan, died at 9:06 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Findlay. Celebration of Life services were at 4 p.m. Sunday in The Vineyard Church in Sullivan with Jim Plank officiating. Reed Funeral Home in Sullivan was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Paulson was born May 9, 1985 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He worked for International Paper in Shelbyville. Eric was a member of The Vineyard Church in Sullivan and loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed woodworking. Eric was a kind and gentle son, father and husband. Findlay ALA Blood Drive Exceeds Goal

•April 13, 2016• An American Red Cross blood drive sponsored by the Findlay American Legion Auxiliary was held in Findlay at the Findlay American Legion Monday, April 11.  The theme of the drive was ‘Celebrating Spring”. Twenty-three people answered the call to donate blood with 21 pints actually collected surpassing the goal of 19. Milestones were reached by Bob Hubbartt who received his pin for donating a total of six gallons, and Michael Bear who received a pin for donating a total of 12 gallons. Paige Tippit and April Brown were first time donors. The next blood drive will be 2-6 p.m. … Read More
