LSA Over Knights in LOVC Tourney Action

•February 3, 2016• In LOVC Tournament action January 29 Decatur Lutheran Association Lions won 38-27 over the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights. Controlling the defensive backboards with 22 rebounds and hitting a better percentage of field goals at 36 wasn’t enough to guide the Knights past the Lions. LSA hit 16 percent of their three point shots and 57 percent of their free throws, along with making 14 points from turnovers to give the Lions an edge. Four seniors, one junior, one sophomore and three freshmen earned straight A’s during the second quarter.
