Millikin Presents Halloween Concerts

•October 28, 2015• The Children’s Museum of Illinois, WAND-TV and Pepsi present the annual Halloween Concerts performed by Millikin University’s percussion ensembles. Millikin’s percussion ensembles will perform three special concerts in celebration of Halloween at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 and 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. This all-ages, family-friendly event of the season will take place in the infamously haunted Albert Taylor Theatre inside Shilling Hall on the campus of Millikin University. Courthouse Luncheon

Ivan Sparling Ivan H. “Ike” Sparling, 83, of Decatur died at 4:21 a.m. Saturday Oct. 24, 2015 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur. Funeral services celebrating his life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hillside Bethel Tabernacle, 3575 Greenhill Road in Decatur with the Rev. Don Horath officiating.
