Judy Kirby Judith Kay Kirby, 75, of Sullivan, received her perfect healing at 12 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur. Her last few days were spent surrounded by her loving family listening to the gospel songs she loved, preparing for her journey with the angels to Heaven. Boy Drowns in Nearby Pool Last Tuesday

June 24, 2015 by Keith Stewart keith@newsprogress.com A four-year-old boy was pronounced dead last Tuesday after he was found unresponsive in a residential pool. According to a press release by the Macon County Coroner Michael Day’s office, Seth A. Hilton, 4, of Lovington was pronounced dead at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, June 16 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur. Hilton had actually been reported missing shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday according to chief sheriff deputy Gary Carroll. Strasburg Talent Show Seeking Skills in 50 Mile Radius

June 24, 2015 Contestants for the Strasburg Lion’s Club Homecoming Talent Show are being sought within a 50 mile radius of Strasburg. The event is scheduled  for Friday, July 10, at the Strasburg park and will begin at 7 p.m.  There will be two age groups: 14 and older and 13 and younger.  Prize money will be awarded for first, second, and third places for each age group.
