October 22, 2014 Part of reconstruction costs eligible for TIF funds by Barry Featheringill Sullivan Reporter Steve Sadikoska and Tim Halili of the Red Apple Restaurant were in attendance at the October 13 city council to hear discussion regarding possible Tax Increment Financing (TIF) to help with the reconstruction of the restaurant that burned down July 29. Mayor Ann Short opened the discussion expressing the feelings of the city: “All of us feel so badly because of your unfortunate situation. Mo-Do 4-H Achievement Program Fundraiser Nov. 9

October 22, 2014 Members of the Moultrie-Douglas County 4-H program are required to pay a program fee to be in 4-H, so on Sunday, November 9 following the 4-H achievement program, the club is planning a live and silent auction to raise money to cover this cost. As the main access route to the Heritage Grain Co-op elevator, the resurfacing of Robinson Street has cropped up again this year.
