Understanding Illinois: Eliminating Property Tax for Schools

News Progress Posted on September 11, 2013 by webmasterMarch 28, 2014

By Jim Nowlan Outside Columnist When it comes to school finance, Illinois is an embarrassment. Knights Drop 40 on Oakwood for Win

News Progress Posted on September 11, 2013 by webmasterMarch 28, 2014

LOVC title implications this week as Broncos loom Kirk Whitaker Arthur/Sullivan Reporter The first two weeks of football have been eventful to say the least for the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights. But here’s some food for thought: two games; 99 points; two opening kickoffs taken back to the house; two games in which senior Jordan Faegin scored at least two touchdowns, and junior quarterback Tyler Schuring had over 150 yards of total offense; two games of running clock, JV-in-by-the-end-of-the-third-quarter-football. You should get the picture by now. The Knights drubbed Oakwood-Fithian/Armstrong-Potomac 40-7 last week, and the beat down started early and continued … Read More
