Sullivan Middle School students led all of the discussion tables on the night that saw over 100 people attend. Track Starts Season Indoors with Meets at Mt. Zion and EIU

The Sullivan Redskins got their track and field season underway with two indoor meets over the last few weeks.  The girls started first with their indoor meet in Mt. Zion on Saturday, February 24. The team went up against runners from 16 other teams, many of which compete in classes 2A and 3A (Sullivan competes in 1A for track). 2014 In the 20 years that the Sullivan Community Education Foundation had been awarding grant money to local organizations and groups, that year saw close to, if not the largest payout. A total of $56,226.85 was awarded at the teacher appreciation dinner to various groups for education related projects. The majority of the money went to three grant applicants for the purchase of iPads and charging devices. The third grade teachers at Sullivan Elementary were awarded $9,579 for 20 iPad 2s and two charging stations.
