Mobile Food Pantry

•February 22, 2023• The University of Illinois Extension in cooperating partnership with sponsors Decatur Catholic Charities and Sullivan United Methodist will hold a mobile food pantry on Wednesday, March 15 from 4 pm to 5 pm at Sullivan Methodist Church, 216 W. Jefferson, Sullivan (across from the firehouse). A mobile food pantry delivers a 2 week supply of food per family in rural communities. Any individual or family that does not have a steady good supply qualifies to receive food. No financial information is required to qualify. Millikin Women’s Basketball Clinches Share of CCIW Title

•February 15, 2023• Sullivan Blue Dolphins had a busy weekend at the end of January. Head Coach Jason Drury took part of the team that qualified to Indianapolis for the Circle City Classic meet. Assistant Coach Megan Zindel took team members to Paducah, Kentucky for the Swimfest meet. From memory Drury said this was one of the best weekends of swimming in the history of the Blue Dolphins. Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
