This is our 20th year of sending care packages to our deployed military. Our young men and women in foreign countries do not have access to Post Exchanges and can really use the items they receive. Road Closings for City Building Demolition

•February 1, 2023• The City of Sullivan has authorized the demolition of the existing City Building located at 2 West Harrison St. The demolition is scheduled to begin sometime during the weeks beginning January 30, 2023 or February 10, 2023 and should last approximately five days. During that period, the contractor and City will have surrounding streets barricaded for the safety of the crew, city residents and businesses. Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
