Mobile Food Pantry – Windsor

•November 12, 2025• The Mobile Food Pantry will be in Windsor on Thursday, December 4th, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Windsor Grade School. To register, call the Windsor Storm Library at (217) 459-2498, Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and noon, and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., and on Fridays between 9:00 a.m. and noon. Once your form has been completed by phone, you will be given a number to bring on distribution day. If you lose your number, you will need to bring identification. Linda Marie Lowe Beavers passed from this world on October 12, 2025, at her residence in Chula Vista, California, surrounded by family, and entered into the Lord’s presence, where she will be reunited with her beloved husband, Roger Lee Beavers, who preceded her into heaven in 2013. Linda and her sisters grew up in Sullivan, Illinois. They were especially close to their loving grandmothers, Maude Hennigh and Helen Lowe, and spent a lot of time with them after their mother passed away. Findlay drive-through Toy Drive

•November 5, 2025• The fall chicken and noodle dinner is set for November 17th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Clarence Bixler American Legion Post 409 in Findlay. This will once again be a fundraiser for the kids at Kemmerer Village. Their goal is to raise $5,000 to help make Christmas a little merrier. SBD begins short-course season

•November 5, 2025• Sullivan Blue Dolphins headed to Terre Haute October 25th and 26th for the start of their short-course season. SBD took the 1st place trophy with 1356.5 points, edging out 2nd place by 291.5 points. SBD had 7 swimmers bring home high point winners.  In the 6&u division was Tinley Eads won 1st place with 66 points.
