•November 16, 2022• Sullivan will have its lighted Christmas parade and other festivities on Friday, December 2. As part of the festivities, Dove, Inc. will be hosting a Santa’s Little Helper Workshop that day from 4 to 6 pm at the Masonic Temple, 107 W. Jefferson in Sullivan. There will be Christmas crafts for children to make, cookie decorating and also hot dogs and chips, cookies and hot chocolate. Senior Madalyn Booker brought home the 1st place high point trophy while Freshman, Emily Crosier brought home the 2nd place high point trophy. Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
