The theme for the day was, “Light up the Word with Christ. Reverend Stephen Rutherford of the host church led the opening service and Reverend Martin Eden, pastor from Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Quincy, Illinois, was the keynote speaker. High School History Class has Traditional English Tea

Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
